I stupidly posted chapter 3 as chapter 2 earlier, so you may have read chapter 3 but missed chapter 2. That's now corrected, and the nice thing is, you get chapter 3 faster than you would have. Enjoy both and please review!

Jack Bauer can save the world from terrorists, but he couldn’t save his best friend from going down the wrong path. In my new video montage, set to “How to Save a Life” by The Fray, Jack thinks back when he first sees Tony again after believing he was dead for 5 years and wonders if there’s anything he could have done to help. This is the first time I’ve done something like this for 24, so I hope you like it, and I’d love to get some feedback.

Title: “What the Hell Happened to You”

Characters: Mostly just Jack, although Audrey, Kim, and David Palmer are featured in flashbacks. Tony is in the very end and is mentioned many times throughout.
Warnings: Spoilers for those who are behind on season 7, some foul language
Disclaimer: If I owned the characters, Audrey would be here with Jack now instead of in a flashback! Oh yeah, and the season 5 bloodbath would never have happened.

Summary: Jack's thoughts while he was sitting on the steps at the end of 7x10, before Tony interrupted his rare moment of peace. It’s a little bit of a Jack/Audrey story, but mostly just an attempt to address Jack’s state of mind in Day 7: his emotions or lack their of, the combination of resentment and sympathy he has shown towards Tony, and whether he is still able to feel anything anymore. This story also includes a flashback that shows how Jack convinced President Palmer to pardon Tony and how that plays into Jack’s current emotions. Title: “I Need Your Help”

Disclaimer: I do not own the characters or the Washington monument. The last two lines were stolen from a deleted scene in season 4, but the rest of the dialog is mine.

Summary: Extended version of the final scene between Jack and Tony on the steps in front of the Capitol Reflecting Pool in the 5 PM episode of season 7. It picks up right where that scene ended. I loved that scene and wanted more of it, so I thought I'd write more of it and try to explain why Jack seemed so cold towards Tony and so reluctant to help. One-shot for now, but I may add more later depending on what goes down on the actual show. Only read this if you have seen 7x10 (5 PM).

Chapter 3 picks up right where chapter 2 left off, after the events of Day 7 have subsided. Chapter 1 has been completely rewritten, so I recommend reading that first.

I rewrote the first chapter, so this now takes place after the events of Day 7 have subsided. To recap, following Bill’s advice, Jack took Tony to a restaurant to have a last taste of real food and give him a chance to tell Jack his whole story before he turns himself in. This chapter now takes place right after the last one.

I know it's been a while, but now that I'm back into the show I'm back into making icons. This set includes 1 from season 5 (Chloe), a few Jack/Audrey icons from season 6, and a bunch of icons from season 7, mostly of Tony because I'm so thrilled that he's back. I also have a couple of some of the new season 7 characters in here, and plan to make more of those soon.
